Westfall - John

Waynetown, Jan 8 - Mrs. Oscar Schenck received a message Sunday morning telling of the death of her brother, John Westfall of Lawrence, Kansas. Mr. Westfall had suffered from cerebral hemorrhage for several days with no hope for his recover from the first. He was born and grew to manhood in this vicinity and had visited here often since locating in Kansas several years ago.
In young manhood he was united in marriage with Miss Bettie Bratton, of Rossville, Ill who, with their four sons and two daughters surviving him. He is survived also by one brother, CC Westfall and one sister, Mrs. Oscar Schenck both of Waynetown. Mr. Westfall was about 75 years old at the time of his death, and was highly esteemed fo rhis noble traits of character. Burial will be made at Lawrence - kbz
